TPMS Reset / Tyre Pressure Monitor
How to reset / calibrate your 2022 Ford Fiesta tyre pressure monitoring system
1. Open Settings
2. Select Information > Tyre pressure
3. Hold OK to store
Simplified illustrations of the steering-wheel menu system. Menu wording and the fitted display may differ.
1. Check all four road tyres with a pressure gauge while cold. Set the pressures shown on the vehicle's tyre pressure label for the load being carried, and correct any tyre damage before resetting.
2. Park safely and keep the vehicle stationary. Switch the ignition on.
3. Use the right-hand steering-wheel arrows to select Settings, then open its menu. Select Information, followed by Tyre pressure.
4. Select Store or Reset if displayed. Press and keep holding OK until the dashboard confirms that the reset is complete.
This procedure is for the later Fiesta with the steering-wheel information display controls shown. Menu wording and layout can vary with the fitted display. A 2017 registration can also be the earlier model, which has different controls.
Reset after changing a tyre or adjusting its pressure. Resetting does not repair a puncture or a faulty sensor; if the warning returns, check the tyres and have any system fault investigated.
Before resetting the tyre pressure monitoring system for the Ford Fiesta
Check the tyres first
A reset does not repair a puncture or restore lost air. Check all tyres and set the correct cold pressures before following the reset instructions. If a tyre repeatedly loses pressure, have the cause investigated rather than repeatedly clearing the warning.
How do I clear the tyre pressure warning on my Ford Fiesta?
On the fitted steering-wheel menu system, open Settings, then select Information > Tyre pressure. Choose Store or Reset if shown and hold the right-hand OK button until confirmation appears. Carry out this reset after correcting the cold pressures. Use the steering-wheel controls shown above; the earlier Fiesta centre-console sequence is different.
If the warning returns
Recheck the pressures and inspect for damage. A persistent or flashing warning can indicate a system fault as well as a pressure issue; use the vehicle handbook to identify it. TPMS does not replace routine manual pressure checks.
