Use the photograph as a guide

The image shows the recorded label location. Depending on the vehicle, pressure labels may be around a door opening, on a pillar or inside the fuel flap. Trim, market and production differences can affect the position, so check the vehicle handbook if your label is elsewhere.

Identify the right label

Look for tyre-size rows, pressure units and front/rear or passenger/load symbols. Other labels in a door opening may show vehicle identification or weight limits rather than tyre pressures.

If the label is missing or unreadable

Do not use a pressure from a different vehicle simply because the label looks similar. Confirm the specification using the vehicle documentation or a vehicle-specific enquiry. Once located, match the fitted tyres and load before using the figures.
