Vehicle Message on the Midlevel display


The Vehicle messages are displayed as code numbers:


Code 1: Change engine oil


Code 2: No radio remote control detected, depress clutch pedal for a restart


Code 3: Engine coolant level low


Code 4: Air conditioning off


Code 5: Steering wheel is locked


Code 6: Depress brake pedal to release electrical parking brake


Code 7: Turn steering wheel, switch ignition off and then on

Vauxhall dash board error codes can appear when a minor fault has arisen with the vehicle, these warning codes are displayed between the speedo and the rev counter on the dash board and will be readable without an additional code reader.

As one example code Code 59 and Code 60 will appear after changing the car battery, simply opening and closing the drivers and passenger windows will remove the warning.
